A day in the life of a Stay at Home Mom

Though there is no proper definition of a typical day in a mom’s life. However, below is the glimpse of what a sample stay-at-home mom’s day looks like.

6:30 a.m. Mom starts her day with the alarm beep and rushes for a quick shower to start the day.

6:50 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. It’s time to wake up the kids and spouse. Start preparing breakfast, pack kids lunch and serve the breakfast.

7:30 a.m. She gets kids into the car and heads to school or a day out with mom.

8:00 a.m. to 9. 30 a.m. Manages various chaos like going to post office, grocery shopping, visiting bank, etc. She gets back home and puts aways the grocery.

10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Visits playground with the little toddler, and prepares lunch for the kids at home.

11:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Reading time or sort of break followed by nap time for the toddler.

11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It’s usually time to manage household chaos such as dishwashing, making the beds, vacuuming, dusting, bathroom cleaning, and performing other scheduled tasks.

1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Prepares lunch while the toddler is asleep. Then, gets back into the car to pick the kids from school.

3:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. Takes kids for an afternoon snack or another class and gets back home.

5:00 p.m. Spends game time with kids and rest for a while.

6:00 p.m. Homework time for school kids, and another cleanup time.

6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It’s time to prepare dinner, serve it, and bathe children.

8:30 p.m. Gets kids to the bed and finishes other house chores.

9:00 p.m. Spends time with spouse after a long tiring day.

10:00 p.m. Enjoys happy time alone by doing her favorite job.

11:00 p.m. Bedtime. She gets a nap of around 7 hours and starts over another day at 6.30 a.m.
