The final days before the wedding are not always great. There are so many emotions running around at the same time that you may feel like a hot mess. There are a few things that you should completely avoid doing before your wedding in order to stay sane for your big day.
1 Don’t Drink
Drinking the night before the wedding or a few hours before the wedding is not good at all. If you drink a lot at night, you might wake up with a really bad hangover. Also, drinking a few hours before your wedding will only cause trouble rather than relieving your stress. Plus, you might stink or get a puffy face. Who would want that on their wedding day, right? In short, drinking is right before your wedding is a bad idea.
2 Don’t Doubt Yourself
Don’t doubt yourself and the choices you have made planning your wedding. These doubts can be about simple things such as whether you picked the right wedding dress or whether the guests will like the entrée or not. There will be a million things going around in your head but AVOID THEM. Your wedding will be a success because at the end of the day, you would be married to the love of your life. What more could one need?
3 Don’t Stay Up All Night
With so much going around, don’t forget to take a deep breath and rest. Having a good night’s sleep before your wedding day is very important so that you can wake up fresh in the morning. Not only that, but try to relax as much as you can in the days leading up to the wedding. All that stress and worry won’t get you anywhere.
4 Don’t Review That Checklist
We all make a wedding checklist so that all the tasks get done at the right time. Reviewing that checklist right before your wedding isn’t always a smart move. If there is a task left in the checklist and you find that out right before the wedding day, it’s only going to stress you. There is nothing you can do just before your wedding, so it’s better to avoid glancing at that checklist. Let things be and start getting ready for your Big Day.
